Many of us don’t know what’s good and what’s bad for our pets. Therefore, here is a list of all healthy foods for dogs.
Tuna and salmon
Fish is extremely healthy because it’s rich in omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids help keep your dog’s coat shiny and healthy. It’s also rich in protein and vitamins. Dogs love cooked salmon, and you can add salmon oil to their food.
lean meat
Lean meat is very healthy, providing your dog with additional high-quality protein. It is a source of amino acids and B vitamins. These vitamins are involved in maintaining energy levels in your dog’s metabolism.
liver
It is a rich source of B vitamins, vitamin A, vitamin K, and iron. However, be careful and limit the amount of liver you give your dog, as too much liver is toxic. No more than 1 gram of fresh liver per kilogram of body weight per day.
Oats
Oats are rich in fiber and ideal for older dogs with digestive issues. Cook them before serving. If you have a wheat allergy, rolled oats are a good substitute.
Sweet potatoes
Sweet potatoes should be sliced and dried before serving. They are an excellent source of vitamin B6, vitamin C, beta-carotene, and manganese.
